The word refine means to “make minor changes to improve something.” As a brand, we embody this definition by continually enhancing our standards and quality. We celebrate the journey of refinement and inspire our community to embrace it as a pathway to lasting growth.
Our jewellery is crafted with care and precision to ensure durability and timeless beauty. We use premium materials, from non-tarnish stainless steel and gold-plated brass to gold vermeil with up to 2.5 microns of plating—perfect for everyday wear.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Dolapo Morgan is the creative director and founder of Refine, a jewellery brand born out of a profound love for African art, culture, and craftsmanship. Growing up, her creativity was expressed through painting, sewing, and braiding hair—an early testament to her passion for working with her hands. Her grandmother’s annual birthday gift of jewellery planted the seeds of her fascination with adornment, but it wasn’t until her time in Dubai, navigating the gold souk as a personal shopper on request, that her vision for Refine truly crystallized.
Launched in April 2022, Refine reflects Dolapo’s desire to celebrate Africa’s hidden treasures—like Northern Nigerian gemstones and corals—on a global stage. Drawing inspiration from her Nigerian roots and her travels across Africa and the world as a management consultant and venture capitalist, she blends strategic expertise with a deep admiration for traditional artistry.
At the heart of Refine lies a commitment to sustainability and ethical luxury. Through the brand’s ‘Crafted for a Cause’ initiative, sustainability is ensured through local sourcing and production, philanthropic efforts and circularity.
Refine's collections transcend adornment, weaving Nigeria’s landscapes, culture, and heritage into each piece through timeless craftsmanship. From the woven basketry textures of the AW23 SiSi collection to the vibrant, locally sourced gemstones in the latest ‘Iyun Mama’ collection, each design celebrates Africa’s essence.
